Re: PLZZ HELP A BIGGG PROB(solved)
go tok hw much space u have allocated for for c drive
is ur comp reading both yr hard drive its not a virus problem that i can assure u cos after formatting no virus can live alive
use some software like tuneup utilities to optomise the space but i suspect it will help
ur prob which seem to me tht ur computer is its nt dectcting the hard drive
go to c drive and see the amount of space there
for image posting check the forum if u dnt get then i will give u the process

Re: PLZZ HELP A BIGGG PROB(solved)
i found a few methods in different places check
the sdtudy states that
temperory internet files
window updates
restore xp
are the main reasons tht cause this problem
there are few methods u have to try
my suggestion is increase the c/ space in partition
methods
according to yahoo
Open "My Computer" Right click on the drive and select properties.
OR, use the Windows key, between the CTRL and ALT keys, plus the letter E to open Explorer. Right click on C: and select properties.
Click on disk cleanup, that will identify files you do not need and which can be deleted. ALSO, it will allow you to activate disk compression which will allow your disk to hold more data.
The compression will take a long time and then the machine WILL be slower but in a laptop it is easier that replacing the
den try bthis
option 1 -- disk cleanup.. it will delete temporary files, browser cache, recycle bin.
option 2 -- disable system restore then enable it again. this will remove files saved by system restore, freeing hard disk space.
ldelete temporery files from your computer, for these you have to make hidden files visible in tools>> folder options
then go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user neame>\Local Settings\Temp
delete all
then empty recycle bin. see how much space is available??
good way is ti delet all the windows update files they usually take much space u may need... just hit on start---search and type for any folders named "%unisntallXXXXXXXXX" or something like that
only warn u that delting them completely will prevent u from undoind any unwanted updates on windows ok
methods from tech sites
try
and clean the file
other method
If you ran Ccleaner that could account for the difference. Another place to check is C:\Documents and Settings\usename\Local Settings\Temp, you can delete everything in there. Local Settings is a hidden file so you have to go to Folder Options > View and check 'Show hidden files and folders'.
Another thing you can do is lower the disk space System restore uses. Go to System Properties > System restore and push the slider to the left.
You can also get WinDirStat
