Admin and Third party software...

Hey guys and girls,this has been a controversial issue whether mig33 admins should use third party softwares or not

These days offenders making our life hell using third party softwares...flooding and multi kicking have been a horrible problem in chat rooms

Using third party softwares,multi kickers kick so fast that it becomes tough for the admins to catch them...they do flooding so quickly too

So what you think??? admins should be allowed to use third party software just to get offenders punished???

There are several reasons for which the staffs think 3rd party softwarer should NOT be used.
1. If they contain back door programs, admin ids will be easily hacked.
2. Because most of those 3rd party softwares work fast, and simple to use, and kick can be initiated by only one kick, there is also huge probability of admin miss kick.(depends on how accurate the clicks are)

3.Again, most of those 3rd party softwares are vulnerable to the 'special DC character'. if one kicker decides to flood room with it, admins using 3rd party softwares will be toast.

Besides, 3rd party softwares are only used for punishing, no other purposes. So.. For 3rd party softwares, mig33 can either say 'NO', or can just say 'ok for some of you who are skilled in pc and clicking!'
the final say will come from mig33 team.. And from mig33 ver 4.0.

I haven't heard yet that any admin got hacked for using third party software!!! still there is chance i guess as mention above...

Still,skilled pc user can do mistake!!! And for this,normal user might have to pay like 1 kick=3kicks=banned!!!

Well,staffs been saying...they will be some automated systems in version 4.0...Lets see what happens

i also dont like this 3rd party soft, as i was ban becoz of this 3rd party soft..

admins are not allowed to use any 3rd party software without sjboy.

Well there were and will be some admins who have no idea about pc but pretends to be pc expert...including one with the last name "power"...
However, one good solution will be to allow the admins to use 3rd party software in one window..

As number of windows = number of kicks, there will be a slightly less possibility of getting room ban by mistake.. however, there is still risk of admin kick by mistake.

**breaths heavily** I get totally.. I mean TOTALLY pissed off when someone thinks and mentions Sjboy as 3rd party software. It is NOT a 3rd party software. It's simply an emulator that Emulates the Java environment for the execution of mig33.jar file.

well i dont think adminz must allowed to use third party software.already mig33 became so strict and in that if adminz uses third party software,it meanz there will be many misuse kickz and lot of innocent userz again will get banned.then there will be peace in the room btw there will no entertainment as we all know mig33 is for fun if we not get that fun whatz the use of it???

admin should stay away from 3rd party kicking softs

well i guess admins should be allowed to use such softwares.. sometimes to fix things u need to break law..multis n flooders should b strictly dealt with n for that every step should b taken to stop them

once an admin said.. some admin can kick fast like a third party software by using some tricks. why not they share the tricks with all admins! is there any communication gap between them? or they are not helping each other?
if they work together then i think they can control the situation easily and make mig33 chatrooms peaceful.

Adminz should not use third party software.
Coz i think if a user gt kick by mistake n if he doesnot have any admin friend it will be difficult for him to get his id back n this will be cause of more abusing n hate for adminz.

They should be allowed to use such software cuz only fire can deal with fire. . U need to beat the multis n flooders at their own game with their own weapons i feel. . Else the admins are at a distinct disadvantage

sjboy and pc can do the work, why need of 3rd party soft?

i was talking about the admins unity. some can kick fast without 3rd party software then why some can't?

well, every1 isn't in same skill... so can't compare every1 same stage...

like when multi kikes some user leaves fast be4 they get kicked, even some gets kik in roll kik... where, the roll kickes takes far more time then normal kick...

Maybe because the 'no knowing, no pc using, no trick using' admins don't even bother to ask the other admins..
If they really want to know, all they have to do is ask. Why should one admin try to teach others when they are not willing to learn it?

You have seen roll kick?
Say, on 1st sec, a roll kick id enters.
On 2.5th second, it will be visible to admin's room window, because thats how mig works. We see Things a bit lately.
On 3rd second, the admin will load the full kick list, and on 4 th second, he will execute the kick using mobile keypad or mouse.

However, the tail of that id will be gone by the 3rd second or even less.
How will admin get the advantage? Java files are slow to process compared to those 3rd party softwares.(i am not sure about their platform. Probably assembly, and its dead fast. I mean.. Reallyyy fast)
you think admins can beat kickers using sjboy only? And you also forgot about one critical factor. When roll kick is executed, more that 20 ids enter, kick, and leave. Is not that a flood in a sense?
Can you disagree over the fact that to show that flood in java window, the mig33 jar files uses up more data, thus slowing down the loading of kick id list?
If you want to share the 'magical' and, i daresay, 'imaginary' idea of super charging the speed of mig33 files, you are more than welcome to share it!
