View active Topics !

Hi Site Admin.
May u implement this feature in our Forum, So that we'll be able view all the new Topics/Replies without going into each and every Sections.

we already have couple of options for viewing recent n active posts

1. Our portal shows all recent n active threads headline n updates.

2. we got two different icons for new post n no new post right before of every category.

- this icon means a new post has been made which you havent viewed yet

- this means no new post hasnt been made so far in this category.

Does the portal shows/displays all the new Topics/Replies if I've absented form Forum for a few days..?
If possible to implement the one like mig33fans with a long list would be really cool.

Our portal shows most recent active threads.

But I guess it doesnt work in opera mini. ( for mobile users ) as our forum specially has been designed only for PC. so mobile users find many difficulties with our forum. since we got many members who browse through opera mini, keeping that in mind, I am trying to make the forum convenient for opera users.

the forum, you mentioned for instance dont have portal. since we have portal we did never think of it. well, I always value our users feedback. I'd try to implement ur idea and apply it.

The Major problem which need to be look into -when browsing using opera mini- is that we can't edit or quote. For instance when i try to quote or edit a post i got a blank field-with no text-.

I'm using opera mini and can do all that very easily . . Maybe it depends on yr version of opera mini or the kinda phone u are using. .

@ cinderella and arabian I'd like to request you both provide us detailed information about your cell phone make and opera version. It'd help me fix bug.

Many users have been complaining they cant post through opera mini.

I use the versions 4.1 n the older versions both. . No complains alh. . Posting's a dream. . My phone's a nokia N81 8 gb . .

I too use opera 3 . Used to face problem while posting but its fine now and my phn is N95

Nokia N73.
for me it's not a major problem as i normally use my phone as a modem to connect to the internet, for downloading etc.
...And it wud nice if u i can edit/quote while using Mobile Phone.
