The hunt for a rock band is in full swing...

The new season of DRockstars has already completed its audition in the 6 divisional headquarters and isss now gearing up for the performance round of auditions in Dhaka.

The response was phenomenal this year as more than 600 rocking bands from Khulna, Barisal, Rajshai, Sylhet, Chittagong and Dhaka registered for the auditions. The jury panel, consisting of BAMBA members, is now selecting the 20 best bands from all the participants. These top 20 bands will then arrive in Dhaka for their 5-day grooming session, where eminent musicians and popular celebrities from different fields will help them to bring out the very best.

Channel I is currently telecasting the audition rounds on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:50 pm.

The top 20 bands, who will get their ticket to Dhaka for the grooming session, will be announced on Radio Foorti by the end of this month. Radio Foorti will also broadcast regular updates of the talent hunt show.

After the grooming session, the top 20 bands will start their performance round to fight for the title of DRockstars. The performances will be judged by the jury and SMS of the audience.
