BERUKHI TUMHARI (YOUR INDIFFERENCE)

Yeh unkei berukhi ki intahaa hai
Mujh par hi berukhi ka ilzaam lagaatei hain
Yeh meri mohabbat ki intahaa hai
Khamoshi se hum isse bhi gaale lagaate hain.

English:

Your indifference reaches its peak
Yet, today, you accuse me of indifference too
My love is also at its peak
So silently I accept this accusation too

CHIRAG - E - DIL (HEARTFLAME)

Jiss chirag ko apney dum sey jalayaa hai

ussi chirag ney mera aashiyaan jalayaa hai

bachati thi jissko hawa key aik jhonkey sey bhi

ussi ney aaj mujhey, tufaan mein phansaaya hai

ENGLISH:

The flame of love which I kept alive with my breath

That flame has burnt my world to cinders

He whom I shielded even from the gentle breeze

Has today left me in the midst of a raging storm


HAMARA GULISTAAN (OUR WORLD)

Dhoondti phirti hun tumko hamarei gulistaan mein
Bhatakti hun kabhi baharon mein, kabhi khizaan mein

Shayad aashiyan tumnei naya basa liya
Ruki rahi mein hi kal ki dastaan mein

Na meri baat hi samjhei, na meri khaamoshi tum
Phir kya fark reh gaya gair aur aashna mein

Yaadon ki zanjeeron ne rokei kadam to samjhi
Ki mein to quaid hun iss pyar ke gulistaan mein.

ENGLISH:

I keep searching for you in our world
While blooming gardens and arid deserts have around me twirled

Perhaps you've made a new life faraway
While I'm engulfed in the time slot of yesterday

My love, you didn't understand my words - said and unsaid
Where's the difference between strangers and my best friend!

When the chains of memory stopped me at the doorstep
Did I realize that I was imprisoned in our world of love.

Aanei ka vaada kar ke bhi naa aaye tum
Zamana beet gaya tumhein dekhei hue

Yun achanak tumnein bheegna kyuon chod diya
mein to na ruk saki kabhi barastei hue

Apni hi pyas se juda ho ke reh gayee
Ummr niqal gayee yuhin tarastei hue

Tinka tinka bun ke woh aashiyan jo dono ne sajaaya tha
kitni bedardi se chale gaye tum isse thukraatei hue

Mitta diya tumhari berukhi ne
woh sheher jisse barson lage thei bastei hue

ENGLISH:

You had promised but did not come
For ages I waited by the door

You stopped enjoying the rain of love
But I never could stop the downpour

From my own desires estranged I stand
Yearning for that loving hand

Twig by twig we had woven our love nest
Callously you walked away without any regret

Your indifference has destroyed that world
Where petals of love had taken a lifetime to unfurl.
