Anu Garg is the founder of www.wordsmith.org, a website that deposits a word a day in your inbox via email. . This website also gives you the word origin, usage history, and other quirks of the word in question. . However, Garg hit the pot of gold when he archaeologised the language - the Proto Indo-European language is where he arrived. . This makes him the manmohan desai of etymology. . Hindi and English come from the same mother language !! While English took a more circuitous route to becoming itself, sanskrit n Indian languages are more directly linked to their roots. So in a way English n Hindi are cousins. Amazing na?
