TO CALL YOU AND
SEE WHAT'S GOING ON...

PART OF ME WANTS
TO STOP THINKING OF YOU
SO I CAN COMPLETELY MOVE ON...

PART OF ME WANTS
WHAT WE HAD,
DESPITE THE PAIN...

PART OF ME DOESN'T WANT
TO GO BACK
BECAUSE OF ALL THE STRAIN...

PART OF ME WANTS
TO BE YOUR FRIEND,
THEN MAYBE YOU'LL
FALL IN LOVE WITH ME AGAIN...

BUT MOST OF ME WISHES
THAT ALL OF ME WOULD AGREE
SO I CAN GET MY HEART BACK
IN ONE PIECE.

You never know what you got until it's gone
That's what they all say
But you never believe that
Until someone in your life goes away

One of the closest people in your life
One of the most beautiful people you know
One of the people who has taught you
Almost everything you know

A person who's been with you the whole way through
A person you can talk to
And spill all your feelings to

I bet you have a person like that in your life
I bet everyone does too
But what would if that person was to go away forever
What would you do

Would you sigh
Would you cry
Would you run and hide away
wishing you could just die

That's how i felt
When that special person passed
One minute he was here
The next minute he wasn't
It all happended so fast

I cried until my eyes were swollen and red
I couldn't talk
I couldn't walk
I couldn't even go to bed

I never thought he would be going
Anywhere anytime soon
But then reality hit me
Like the light of the moon

Oh how i wish that he was here
In my house or somewhere near
All i want to do is say one more thing
How much I loved him and everything he was about
Every little thing

You never know what you got until it's gone
That's what they all say
But you never believe that until someone in your life goes away

I?m just sitting here in the corner of a room
I?m sure not going to fall asleep soon
While I?m just looking at you while you sleep
It?s a little crazy the way you make me feel.

?Cuz I never thought someone could make me feel alright.
I never thought that I could stay up all night.
Just looking at a face in a place where
I beg I could spend my life
Though sometimes it feels wrong
Still don?t know where I belong.

When I look and think of the distance of the moon
Is it as far as I am from my own room?
?Cuz I?m in your world now, it's not mine.
And I damn sure feel lost sometimes.

But I never thought someone could make me feel alright.
I never thought that I could stay up all night.
Just looking at a face in a place where
I beg I could spend my life
Though it almost feels wrong
Are you sure this is where I belong?

All I really want is you.
All I really need is you.

So you know that you make me feel alright.
And you know I will stay up all night.
Just take a look into my eyes
This is where I will spend my life with you
Because this is where I belong
