Cicinho and Roma no problem
Cicinho says there is no ill will between himself and the club despite running out on a training session on Sunday.
The
speculation stems from an incident this past Sunday when the
Giallorossi defender simply walked off the pitch for no apparent reason
before practice was over.
This led many to believe that there was
potentially a problem between him and the rest of the team, especially
after his poor showing in their 3-1 loss to Palermo on Saturday.
However, the Brazilian insists that there is no such animosity and vows his team will rebound after their painful defeat. "Everything is ok, I just don’t understand certain stories," Cicinho told Il Corriere Dello Sport."I had a tough training session on Sunday and that’s it, there is no further problem.”
"We have not started the season very well but I am convinced that we will return to being the team we were in the past."
Roma
failed to put up much of a fight against the Rosanero and Cicinho
certainly had his hands full trying to cope with Palermo’s offensive
strikes
Cicinho can only hope to put the defeat in Sicily behind
him as he and Giallorossi look to bounce back in their Champions League
match against Cluj on Tuesday.
