Very High Frequency Waves(VHF) are ELECTROMAGNETIC radio waves falling between high frequency and Ultra high frequency. VHF Waves are from 30 million to 300 million cycles per second, and the wavelengths range from 1 to 10 meters. They are used for television and FM (Frequency modulation) radio

VHF (Very High Frequency) is also known as the meter band or meter wave as the wavelengths range from ten to one meters.

The heigher Frequencies are known as UHF (Ultra High Frequency)..
