Vampire Weekend to hit the UK next month

The tour will begin in Birmingham on October 20th.
Vampire Weekend are set to complete their US tour with ten dates in the
UK, it has been reported.
The
New Yorkers will begin their journey in Birmingham on October 20th
before travelling to Sheffield, Glasgow and Liverpool, according to
NME.com.
A date in Bristol on October 31st will be the final leg of the tour.
Meanwhile, the news provider claims the Melvins will also hit the road to warm up for the ATP Festival coming in December.
The band will play in Nottingham, Dublin, Galway and finally in Leeds on October 10th.
Also
planning to tour is Yo Majesty who will support Neon Neon in Bristol on
October 28th followed by dates in Leeds, Newcastle and Birmingham, the
website claims.
In other news, Vampire Weekend have been nominated for three Q music awards.
The band is on the shortlist for the Best New Act, Best Album and Best Video prizes.
