26 is corect answer:P
let the time till6=xmin
so time past 3 is 180-x
before 50 mins it was 180-x-50
180-x-50 is 4 times x which sum upto 180
180-50-x=4x
130=5x
x=130/5=26 hence a problem :P

okay lemme show u something where math fails:P
lets proove something which look impossible:P
given:a+b+c=0
to prove a+b=0
solution:
a+b+c=0
a+b=-c
(a+b)(a+b)=-c(a+b)
a*a+b*b+2ab=-ac-bc
a*a+b*b+ab+ab=-ac-bc
a*a+ac+ab=-bc-b*b-ab
a(a+b+c)=-b(a+b+c)
a=-b
a+b=0
hence again a problem:P

the problem is within the line where you remove (a+b+c) from both sides.

you see, the condition was a+b+c=0
you can not divide any number by 0, the result is infinity.
Many fail to notice this and starts eating their nails:|

let required number=x
total minutes between 3o'clock and 6o' clock =180

x+50+4x=180

5x+50=180

5x=130

x=26

maths im weak in maths
