Hi follow these steps to set a restore point in windows XP. After that you can restore your pc whenever you face any problem.

How to set a system restore point:

Arrow Click Start.

Arrow Point to All Programs.

Arrow Point to Accessories.

Arrow Point to System Tools.

Arrow Click System Restore.

Arrow Choose Create a Restore point..

Now your settings are saved ... You can restore you PC in further..
